im a lesbian Xicana, born and raised in the borderland region of el paso, tx.
my praxis as a writer and trauma wound worker is informed by lived experiences, and resourcing the ancestral body and sacred landscapes’ interconnected wisdom to facilitate collective healing & wholeness.
my work is a reflection of me as a being who loves to write, be creative, connect, share wisdom, and tell stories…
it is deeply connected to the relationship i have with myself, and all things living, seen and unseen, past and present.
my work centers and moves towards justice & liberation.
one of my many intentions doing this work is to continue tending to a space, this space, where i can explore the depths of myself in relationship to everything,
where those who choose to be in community with me witness themselves through my offerings,
remain curious,
are making space for all feelings and experiences without judgement,
are exploring themselves and our collective wounding,
and are actively creating as much distance as possible from the oppressive systems around us, and in us.
my zines inspire all of this and more.
i offer my zines as a tool to democratize publishing and explore themes of:
cultural creativity
communal healing
intergenerational/ancestral trauma
identity
liberation
sociopolitical justice
ecofeminism
Xicanx/Latinx/Latiné Indigenous Teachings/Spiritualities
Decolonial Historical Analysis
and the deconstruction of the Psychiatric/Medical Industrial Complex.
